“So,
affectionately longing for you,
we were well pleased to impart to you not only the Gospel of Christ,
but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.”
1 Thess. 2:8 (NKJ)
Objectives
- Live and minister in a rural Native North American
community through Biblically-focused, strategically-minded and
culturally-appropriate ways.
- Gain wisdom in ministry through association and
consultation with missions-minded individuals and Native North American
leaders.
- David desires to help strengthen the First Nations
church by encouraging and developing leaders through friendship and
informally sharing all of myself.
- Tammy desires to work with a close-knit team
passionately longing to help people from struggling communities become
totally committed to Christ thereby drawing others to Christ by their
love for another.
Philosophy
of Ministry
- Work as servants and equals of First Nations
people, helping them become full participants in God’s kingdom
- Help Native people to Biblically adapt ministry to
the forms, needs and values of their culture
- Move the church towards greater fulfillment of what
God intends it to be: an interdependent body growing in grace, truth
and love; reaching out to their community; and mobilized for world
mission
- Holistically address social/community needs,
including spiritual and racial reconciliation components
- Continue to learn culture and language (if language

understanding of and participation in missions, especially to Native
